Word of the day

"ANHEDONIA, noun

In psychology, anhedonia is an inability to experience pleasure from normally pleasurable life events such as eating, exercise, social interaction or sexual activities."

My God, my Buddah, Lion of Narnia! Can you imagine the horror?

If, like me, you're acquainted with one or more of these sad people, be of a charitable nature, and show them the wonders of life!

Or tell them to get over themselves.

  1. Okay, I admit it, I'm addicted to your blog. I just love reading you: your sharp pen makes wonders, no doubt about that. A few minutes ago, when I checked your blog and realised you had written again, I was thrilled. Just keep posting new texts, you're amazing.
Thanks to you, now I can add a new word to my vocabulary; I first thought anhedonia was a flower one may find near water. On the other hand, I do know someone who just fits the description of such... inability, don't you? It's a shame that some people can't seize the moment and appreciate it. Though, in my opinion, the worst is when such people try to mess with your head and ruin your day (or night). And that's when I wanna shout: screw you! It may seem harsh, but I don't want spend my life complaining about things that aren't settled. I prefer laughing, enjoying every second of the day, and simply be happy. If someone can't get that point... whatever. It is his/her loss.
